Y’all (spoken in my best “Oklahoman” voice) I did NOT see this coming.

I pulled into the parking lot and immediately questioned why I took the shoot. From the outside, the shop looked a bit like a “hole in the wall” place that might be too run-down to ever be great for my portfolio.

I WAS WRONG.

“Fried Rice” was ready to rock and roll from the moment I walked in the door. It was actually the fastest shoot I’ve ever completed for Doordash, and one of the most rewarding in terms of portfolio value, food value, and hospitality. The kind staff and amazing chefs were super easy to work with, bringing perfectly-styled plates out piping hot and ready to shoot.

The food tasted amazing too. We stopped to have a bite before hitting the road back home. Totally worth the drive.
